Great choice...

"Bought this mower 2 years ago and it has NEVER failed to start on the first pull. No repairs of anykind and mows it's little heart out. My daughter borrowed it for her rather large yard and promptly went out and bought one. She has some trees in her yards and said that it went right through smaller sticks like they were butter. Great choice.."

Awesome Mower
|
Date: May 10, 2008

"Last year I bought a Troy-Bilt blower because of the advertised easy start and I loved it so much that finding myself needing a new push mower this year I thought I'd look into a Troy-Bilt mower. After researching on the internet and looking at the store I bought the 6.75 ready strart self-propelled high wheel mower. After removing the mower from the box and following the 8 step fast start guide (less than 10 min.) the engine started on the first pull. No prime, No choke, one pull, now that's EASY. I love this mower."

Mower Questionable
|
Date: July 10, 2009

"Purchased this mower 9/07. Used only to trim alongside riding mower. Minimal use late 07; moderate use 08 and little spring 2009. Week ago noted right rear wheel had plastic hub failure, wheel wobbly. 'Plastic' has failed at this stress point yet still baffled because all our turning around shrubs, etc. is to left, thus you would think the left rear would fail first. Warranty work in progress but concerned about future and durability of these wheels with all plastic. Assumed it was durable upon purchase decision but now rethinking my decision. Metal wheels better and I've looked at both on various brands at repair station. American-made steel wheels preferred. Always starts on 1st or 2nd pull and machine cuts superb, but you must have wheels to cut. Also, thought I would just remove lock nut, order wheel and be in business. Try removing one of the lock nuts on these wheels-extremely tight and strip very easily. Better have more then a wrench to remove. Poor design on this material part, I am afraid."

"Incredible mower. Bought used, after being used for one season from a friend, and couldn't believe how easy it was to use! Did an incredibly even job and so easy to start. Absolutely recommend it to everyone!!!"
