"worst trimmer ever, the string feed does not work and it is very difficult to re-string. Which is a complete waste of time anyway. I used mine 3 times, and am now throwing it away. I would not even put this thing out on the lawn with a "take me for free" sign."

"String advance does not work. Very difficult to remove cover from bottom of string container. It is irritating and inconvenient to use the manual advance, which is also hard to use. The cut grass plugs up the vents on the motor."

Manual doesn't match online specifications Date: June 13, 2009
"I've got the TB495 EZ. I don't know if there is an actual difference or not but I did notice that the online description says that it is bump and feed. This is not what mine does. In trying to replace the line, the manual says 0.080" line but online specifications state 0.065" line. The blade will not cut the 0.080" and therefore unwinds the whole spool and it tangles into a knot. Cannot locate replacement blade. Does it have a part number? Cannot find line that even looks similar to what came with the trimmer unless I buy a spool with the line already on it. No wonder it seemed like such a good price!!!"

Disappointing purchase Date: May 20, 2009
"I purchased this trimmer because I liked all the features. However, the spool set up on this trimmer is impossible with which to work! I spend more time trying to get the string wrapped correctly and in the trimmer than I do trimming. And, the extension of the handle is not nearly long enough for anyone over 5'8" tall. Surely an improvement can be made to replace the difficult string spool without throwing the entire machine away."
