"The string head is a real piece of junk. Line does not advance correctly and finaly ends up with the line completely inside the head. Requires opening head to retreive line. Only used for about 3 hours total. Engine misses when run at full throttle while using blower attachment. I would never recommend this unit to anybody."

"I purchased this trimmer a month ago, used it once, and it has been in the repair shop ever since. It was fine for about 20 minutes before it started missing and stopped. It took 30 minutes before it would re-start and then would only run with the choke in the half way position. I have other Troy Bilt products and have been satisfied but this trimmer is sub-standard. I would not recommend it to anyone"

"This thing had me so angry I literally threw it across my deck. The head is the worst ever. It's not too hard to load which is good because it jams every 30 seconds. Evil terrible lousy rotten good for nothing trimmer. I hate it. The engine is ok but even that was sputtering last time I used it. Bad bad bad product."

Parts are Terrible

"1st time weed eating, the spool came off and the metal part that the string feeds through went flying off, cannot find the metal piece and cannot find anything on the web site for a replacement part. Not Happy with the product. If I can find the replacement part, I might have a different opinion of the product, however, 10 minutes is not easy to rate!!!"
