"I have had my mower for 5 seasons and would recommend it to anyone. It has never failed to start. Just a few pumps of the choke button and one pull most of the time. The ease of the self propelled system has made mowing quick and easy."

Good mower, good engine

"I have used the mower three times now and it starts very easy (Honda engine) and runs strong.
Easy set up out of the box, I was a little concerned about the plastic wing nuts that fastened at the base of the handle and sure enough one vibrated off during the second mowing. I went to the hardware store, got a lock washer and stop nut for each side and shouldn't have any more problems with that.
The instructions did not suggest how much of the 12 oz oil bottle to add to the engine. It would have been helpful if the instructions said to add it all, which did bring it up to the full mark. I didn't want to overfill so I added about 2/3 then had to check the oil."

"Well it started a very long time ago! My Dad bought a Troy Built "Horse" Tiller...It was very inpressive to me as a young child...It never let him down.I have bought several diffrent movers in the past, but the Troy Built is by far the best I have ever owned...Great price. Ready to go right out of the box. Smooth operation.Very easy to start. Quiet. Just add Oil,GAS and GO!!! I will tell EVERYONE how Great Troy Built Movers are,Like the TB Horse in my past...30 something years ago...Thanks Troy Built for another Fine mechine...My Dad would be proud..."

"This is a great mower for a first time purchase of a lawn mower. It started on the first try and was assembled out of the box. The engine hardly wastes any gas and does not release much exhaust either.
I recommend this product to anyone looking to buy a good mower."
