Excellent! 27 ton splitter
|
Date: June 3, 2008
|
"A few minutes out of the crate and I was happily splitting away! It's now two weeks later and probably around nine cords and everything is still great! Well built, tough with more than enough strength, add in the Honda motor and you've got great dependability with easy starting."

It will split it, if you can cut it.

"I purchased the 27ton Honda engine driven model with the protective hose coil springs. My 27 ton splitter has yet to meet its match. We have split over 12 cords of wood so far and it still cranks easy, and operates smoothly as day one. It has paid for itself twice over already, with the cost of a hardwood cord at $225 and we now have a means to offset the expected unaffordable heating bills this coming winter.
A few of the neighbors have asked to borrow it and even the guy with all thumbs couldn't hurt it.
WISH ITEM: I am a 50+ year old female with arthritis. Adding some type of 25ft power pulley attachment would help a lot in getting the log to the splitter.
Thanks for a great dependable product. Geak"

LS27TB log splitter
|
Date: November 10, 2009

"I purchased this unit about 2 yrs ago and have used it several times splitting hardwood. It is an excellent piece of equipment, with one exception. When splitting logs, they can get caught in the cradle. This has happened to me and the pressure broke the retaining bolts on the cradle to the frame. It is very easy to start and to use in both the horizontal and vertical positions."

Great splitter

"I bought this 4 years ago and have regularly used this to split well over 75 face cords of wood. All wood from apple to oak and very large logs too. You just can't stop it. I have used and abused this thing and it just keeps running. I would buy another one if I ever needed it."
