Not enough power for this Date: May 30, 2009
"This edge trimmer works good, but practically the power unit doesnt have enough Horse Power for it. Its not the attatchments fault - the power unit just can't pull it through heavy dirt."

"I like the edger. I find it fairly easy to use. My 17 year old son did have problems getting it to work as well for him. Getting the angle right can be difficult. I did not want the edger to go more than a half inch into the soil, however I really have to drop the motor end down to my knees to make this happen. I find this to be the only problem with the edger."

"Great for edging. But this is a disposable item. After one season of edging I needed to replace the blade. Expensive as the blade was I knew it had to be done. Unfortunately there is no way the old one would come off. The composite metal housing shattered and the old blade is still on. The guide to hold the blade as you try to turn the nut holding the blade on is cheap. DO NOT BUY unless you plan on throwing away."

"I love the interchangeable attachment concept which is why I bought Troybilt to start with. I was using the string attachment to edge my lawn, but used a lot of line and found it hard to edge a straight line. The edger attachment worked beautifully! The first cut was a bit slow, but now I can edge all my drive ways and walkways (about 600 linear feet) in less than half the time. It leaves a clean straight edge, too."
