Brush Cutter

"I use this attachment connected to my Troybuilt Model TB525CS and I can say it works very well at cutting through thickets, brush and heavy grass as well as small saplings, * I do wish it was a little longer as you have to get closer with it to work then the string trimmer attachment."

between string trimmer and chain saw
|
Date: May 30, 2009

"I found that clearing an area had bruch to thick for string trimmer, but not big enough for chain saw. This Brush cutter attatchment snips off those in between items very well. It makes a "ping" noise when it snips off a pesky shrub. A very satisfing sound. Seems very rugged, more rugged then the power unit I think. Does get a bit heavy to manuever around though, needs somewhat better shoulder straps & handle"

Brushcutter

"I was surprised at how well this product works. It connected right up to my Ryobi trimmer no problem. I was cutting brush up to 1" in diameter, anything larger and you may want to use a chain saw. Overall, I am very pleased with this brushcutter and recommend it to the DIY'r. The unit is sturdy. I did notice some wear on the blade guard after a couple of hours of use."
