"I like this mower, but i have had a couple of problems with it. 1st, when it was delivered the battery was dead. Store replaced it of course but i ended up buying a bigger battery anyway. 2nd this is my second year with this mower and today the blade would not stay engaged. When i pulled the knob the blade starts and runs for 1 - 5 seconds and stops. As of now i am assuming this is covered by the warranty. Will update after repairs to let you know how it went."

"I've owned this mower for about a 1 1/2 years. its a great mower with the exception of speed. it runs fast enough to mow but when I go to empty the bags it just doesn't move as fast as I like."

Happy with mower Date: July 11, 2008
"I bought this mower this spring (2008) and have over 50 hrs on it. I have not had any problems. The Kohler motor is very powerful and has mowed well. I mow my lawn, orchard and small vineyard and this mower does a very good job. I have not had any mechanical problems. The foot pedal speed control is very nice. The deck removes easily allowing me to use the mower to pull my cart or fruit sprayer."

"I bought a Troybilt laen tractor (horse) in July 2005. I have only 70 hours on the engine. The front wheels have plastic bushings that secure the wheel/tire to the axle. These bushings have broke when I was mowing. The wheel came off. This is very poor design. The bushing should be made of medal or a bearing should be incorporated into the wheel. I am requesting Troybilt to send me bushings for both front wheels that secure the wheels to the axle."
