"We've had this roto-tiller for more than 10 years, and it was a great decision. It's a real back saver (I did the double digging by hand prior). This tiller does an excellent job of vegetable plot preparation, turning and mixing all the ingredients. All I do afterwards is plant the tomatoes... with fabulous results. Only drawback is that it has no reverse gear, which makes it hard to back out of corners. Otherwise, a very reliable machine. Always starts easily, too."

Wow! Date: November 16, 2008
"I am surprised by the last review...I have owned mine for 13 years and the only problem I have ever had was to adjust the float in the carburetor. I knew it was a workhorse and it has lived up to my expectations. I have certainly got my moneys worth. Now I have a much bigger garden, 20' X 30', but it still does the job! Thanks Troy-Bilt!"

Will never use agin!!! Date: May 20, 2008
"The tiller beats you to death, surges all the time, stalls out every 30 min., Ripped the rear dirt sheld off in the first pass, If you ever get it to dig down to 6" it trys to buck and jump and jurk out of your hands. I will NEVER use a TROY BUILT AGIN EVER!!!

I have run front tine tiller that done a better job than this thing did and you didn't have to fight with it. a simple 10'x30' garden took me 2.5 hrs to till and it was even plowed and disc down good too."
