"After buying several different inexpensive makes and models, i finally bought my first troy Built trimmer, simple because i already have a Troy Built mower and am very pleased with that product. This trimmer is very easy to operate, in fact. i like so well i bought one for my vacation home at the lake. It does, however, need a shoulder strap with the product, currently, we added one of our own.
Great job Troy built"

"Best trimmer I've had. At 77 years of age, I have had almost every brand available. I like the 4 cycle engine, and the trimmerplus attachments. I have the edger and the chain saw. Great tools. The products have had excellent product assurance coverage. Thanks again Troybult. Glen"

"i'm
on my second year with this trimmer. as far as i am concerned, this is
the best thing on the market. if you follow directions, prime the
sucker and use freash, good gasoline, this is the trimmer you want. it
cranks quickly, is balanced perfectly with the add on shoulder strap,
and works great for me with either the string trimmer head or the edger
attachment i purchased seperately. the one bad review i read was either
a fluke or i got the good one. would i buy another? heck ... i'm
gonna'!!
by the way ... i'm in the lawn care business and don't just use this
thing every other weekend. i USE it!!\ LOVE the no-mix 4 cycle engine!!"

"The spool on my unit does not even come close to the one on the video. It is harder to figure out how to install string from just reading the manual and more pictures would certainly help.

It does not run as smoothly as others i have had, but i really like the balance and weight on this one. I have an acre to trim."
